HOW IT WORKS
Drag anywhere — your hound swings around the trunk and bays hard where he faces.
Baying hard is what actually drives dogs off, and it burns WIND.
Let go and he bays easy. His wind comes back. You can't hold hard all night.
LUNGE breaks a hard-headed dog — the orange one with the ring.
A bay does nothing to him. Nothing.
Watch for the slinkers. They come in quiet and fast and you'll barely see 'em.
The JUDGE shows up on one side and calls for the tree. Get over on him and bay
before he walks — that's the only thing that scores. Holding the tree with nobody
watching is worth nothing.
Let 'em work the trunk too long and the coon slips. That's your night.
